Robert Foster is Program Coordinator for Florida’s Veteran Entrepreneurial Training Program (VTEP) offered through the University of West Florida’s Military and Veterans Resource Center, and is recent past-Director of the Venture Hive Veterans’ Business Accelerator in Fort Walton Beach; concurrently, he is Division Manager for, a Company he helped Found in Austin, Texas – Apogee is the largest provider of combined telecommunications services to Higher Education in the United States.  Foster now runs their CALEA Division where he implements Warrant-Based Wire Taps for the Department of Justice.  Foster is on the Board and Executive Committee of the United States Army, and is a Member of the Navy Marine Relief Corp.

Foster began his technology Career in Pensacola in 1967 as an IBM Engineer, and spent seventeen years with IBM in positions from Engineering, to Sales, to Product Development, to International Strategy Advisor, to Division Manager.  Foster, who help Found 12 technology companies in Austin, Texas, has had 13 Patents issued in his name, and is a Mentor in the UWF Center for Entrepreneurship.
